On October 24, Uzhgorod artist and philosopher Pavlo Kovach presented a personal exhibition "Cultural Landscape" in the ILKO Gallery in Uzhgorod.
A few minutes before it was opened, assistants were still finishing the texts on the walls, the artist himself was walking with a glass of water, pouring it on pieces of metal, which served as an exhibit there. And enthusiastically commented: "These are probably the first water pipes in Uzhgorod. Without water, they are not alive. Now, it’s good."
In the annotation, the artist, who is a pupil of the famous Uzhgorod artist and philosopher Pavlo Bedzir, explained: "The cultural landscape is designated as the place where man and nature have been living in coexistence for millenia, which is expressed in beliefs, legends, rites, religions, and has become a legacy of present and future generations. The reality – visible and imagined, conceivable and sensory-emotional – is the subject of creative inspiration for this exhibition. Paintings and objects consist of several projects that were made at different times, but are united by the idea and conventionally divided "between the first and second floors."
