On July 24 in each precinct of the Transcarpathian police, the inspections of the personnel’s readiness to duty took place.
They inspected the appearance of the personnel, logistical support and commitment to duty, the site of the regional traffic police informs.
According to the chief of the Transcarpathian police Serhiy Knyazev, it was done so that people could see our police.
– After the events of July 11 in Mukachevo, Transcarpathians and visitors of the region are wondering whether we have authorities, whether the police can ensure peace and order in the region – the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region police colonel Serhiy Knyazev said.
This innovation was not initiated by us. It was a tradition, to hold mounting of the personnel in the city center, in front of the people. Now we will also be holding such mountings every Friday, at noon.
The number of squads has been increased on account of policemen from other services. Night patrolling will be carried out by professional patrol officers. And during the day, other services will be sufficient.
