Kazakhstan is studying the possibilities of cooperation with Transcarpathia

The Head of Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda met with the Rector of International Professional Academy ‘Turan-Profi’ (Kazakhstan) Manenom Omarov on Monday, July 10. The meeting was also attended by a deputy head of the region Volodymyr Prykhodko, a representative of IPA ‘Turan-Profi’ in Ukraine Myroslav Opachko and an assistant rector of IPA ‘Turan-Profi’ Petro Martsev.

Guests from Kazakhstan are interested in cooperation on the regional level in the industrial, tourist and educational spheres, said during the meeting the rector of IPA ‘Turan-Profi’ Manen Omarov:

–         Both countries have been developing on their own for more than 20 years, but the dialogue between the countries is not adjusted so good as it is desired. Today, for example, large share of Kazakhstan automotive industry market is occupied by Russia. Ukraine also has enterprises that produce the same cars their advantage is proximity to the borders with Slovakia, Hungary and other EU countries. This aspect is very attracted to us – said Manen Omarov.

Kazakhs are also interested in the educational and recreational tourism. The development of business in the eastern country requires qualified personnel, so the possibility of cooperation in the training specialists in Transcarpathia issue and creation of a joint training center is considered.

–         Transcarpathia is the unique land because there is preserved sanatorium therapeutic recreation. Our resorts are extremely popular among the Ukrainian people. On the basis of such institutions can be invigorated as well as organized the joint training seminars – concluded the head of Transcarpathia Oleksandr Ledyda.
