On Thursday, May 9, in Uzhgorod SC "Yunist" there was a solemn closing of handball championship of Ukraine among women. The Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Honorary President of the HC "Karpaty" Oleksandr Ledyda and Olympic champion in handball Nina Hetsko congradulated the participants and the winners.
After the last game, where Uzhgorod team defeated Irpin "Podatkovy Universytet", there was the official awarding and championship closing ceremony.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the head of the region awarded the best players of the season 2012-2013. The title of best goal keeper of the season went to Yelyzaveta Helyazetdinova of Lviv "Halychanka", and Natalia Turkalo of Uzhgorod HC "Karpaty" deservedly became the best player.
Transcarpathian handball club "Karpaty" became the champions for the second time in a row.
On Monday, May 13, at the Regional Musical and Drama Theater there will be the ceremony of celebrating the winners of the handball championship of Ukraine among women – HC "Karpaty". There will also be a holiday concert program. Studio of Contemporary Dance "Blitz", "Rock H" band and also known Ukrainian singer Vitaly Kozlovsky will be entertaining the audience. The admission will be free.
