Journalists prompted the Prosecutor’s office to the verification

The mass media messages prompted the Prosecutor’s office to verify compliance with the Law on Environmental Protection requirements in the constructions of small hydroelectric power stations near the villages Turia-Poliana (Perechyn district), Bilyn Rakhiv district, near the Ilmyn stream and the river Red of Tyachiv district.  

At least the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office names the journalistic investigation on the basis of the public organizations information as the exact reason why the State Department of Environmental Protection required the conclusions of the environmental expertise received for the construction of these stations. There believe, that there takes place failure to comply with the Law of Ukraine ‘On Environmental Protection’ requirements.
