Ivan Shits: “Goverla” will start training on the eighteenth of January”

The General Director of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Ivan Shits told the "UF" about offseason plans of the Transcarpathian team.

– The team will start training on the eighteenth of January. Then, there are two options. This issue is being decided. The first option is training in Turkey. The second option is to spend the first week in Uzhgorod, and then to go to Turkey. At home, we may play some friendly matches. Slovaks and Hungarians are asking about sparrings. And the weather allows for that. But it is provided that we have the first stage of the training here, in Transcarpathia. If the team goes to Turkey in a few days, there will be other plans.

The team has normal working spirit. Let’s just say, just like in the country. We all are waiting for improvement. But when will it come? It all depends on changes in the countries. What sports are developing here? Hockey, women’s handball? Only football is left – Shits said.
