Ivan Baloha: “In the Parliament, Transcarpathian team will press for the adoption of European laws”

"In the new Parliament, Transcarpathian team will press for adoption of European laws and improvement of the government system under the European model. We’ll become lobbyists of interests of Transcarpathia." This is what Ivan Baloha said at a press conference in response to the question how deputies from Transcarpathia – Ivan Baloha, Victor Baloha, Pavlo Baloha and Vasyl Petyovka – will vote in the newly elected Parliament.

Ivan Baloha noted first of all that in the new parliament our people’s representatives would seek decentralization. Regarding the election law, Ivan Baloha said that the electoral system might be changed. "If we change it to a proportional system with open lists, it will be a step forward", – Ivan Baloha said.
