It turns out that construction work at the “Crown” is being performed without permits

There are no legal documents for restoration, reconstruction, let alone destruction of the architectural monument of local importance "Crown", according to the response of the State Architecture Inspectorate Office in Transcarpathian region signed by its head Volodymyr Tsekh to the request of public defender Natalia Maystrenko received by the publication Zakarpattya online.

"According to the unified register of documents giving the right to preparatory and construction work… there is no information on the commencement of preparatory work or construction work at Teatralna Square, 7, Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian region."

Meanwhile, as stated in the response of the State Architecture Inspectorate, the inspection at this address "revealed signs of work performance." Also, the supervising organization complain that "access to the construction site is restricted, there are no responsible persons."

What is surprising, the State Architecture Inspectorate asks activists to help identify "entities that are building the object", although information about them is publicly available in relevant state registers.

As informed, "the Office of the State Architecture Inspectorate in Transcarpathian region has sent a letter to Uzhgorod city council and the Department of National Police to identify the entities."
