It’s Rotmistrenko again… Notorious Uzhgorod judge is involved in another scandal

Recently, the Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed that a criminal proceeding had been opened against a judge of Uzhgorod city and district court for misinformation in the e-declaration. You’re going to laugh, but that judge is "legendary" Rotmistrenko – "the star of youtube".

This was reported by the Zakarpattya online, citing its sources in law enforcement.

Among other things, M.Rotmistrenko did not declare in the e-declaration a luxury BMW X5, which he uses.

In the declarations for recent years, the odious judge stated that he does not own or use any cars, and lives in his mother’s house in Uzhgorod district. However, last year, the patrol police stopped him twice driving a luxury SUV BMW X5 while being intoxicated.

The first time it was recorded that M.Rotmistrenko was driving while intoxicated, but in the end, he managed to avoid responsibility. And the second time, they could not detect drugs in the body of M.Rotmistrenko because of "lack of urine".

And now, we have the first results of the activities of the department for prevention of corruption of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office that analyze e-declarations of persons authorized to perform state or local government functions.

And during the analysis of the declaration of one of Uzhgorod city and district court judges, employees of the department revealed a false information in the document. In this regard, the investigation department of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office registered the incident in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation as a criminal offense under Art. 366-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaration of false information).
