It is proposed to open studio for artists in the castle “Palanok”

The Mayor of Mukachevo Andriy Baloha and the First Deputy Mayor Rostislav Fediv held a meeting with managers of the city culture institutions. They discussed the projects that will be implemented this year. Rostislav Fediv noted that yesterday deputies had amended the city comprehensive program of culture and arts development in the city of Mukachevo in 2016, approving it in the new edition. The funding was increased almost threefold – from UAH 578 thousand to UAH 1 million 550 thousand. In addition, major repairs will be funded through the Department of Capital Construction.

"Two months ago we met and suggested you to submit your suggestions on repairs of the facilities that you are heading. Now, we have sorted them out and are developing planning documents. Thus, major repairs will be carried out in the choral school, two art schools, the work at the Palace of Culture will continue, the upgrade of the House of National Communities is planned. In addition, equipment, costumes, stationery and household goods for cultural institutions will be purchased. Another big project, that was suggested by the student council representatives, is to arrange a summer amphitheater behind the art school park.   I urge to get involved and monitor the quality of repair", – Rostislav Fediv said.

The Mayor Andriy Baloha suggested to consider the proposals on the update of the castle "Palanok." It is proposed to replace the pavement, upgrade the art gallery there. It is also planned to arrange a studio for artists in the castle.
