Is Uzhgorod the capital of Shidokan Karate? (PHOTOS, + results)

The Open World Shidokan Karate Championship took place in Transcarpathian capital. 270 fighters from 16 countries took part in it, – the Opinion informs.

Extremely fast and incredibly strong. Shidokan Karate is a special sport that makes "universal soldiers". The fights are very spectacular.

The matches between the fighters grouped by gender, age, and weight, were taking place in the Knocdown Karate, Shidokan Gloves, Thriatlon, and Kata categories, all of which are disciplines of this martial art.

Shidokan Karate is developing rapidly in Ukraine and around the world: most of the participants in the Championship are children. Our country retains the status of one of the leaders in the prestigious men’s category. Thus, in particular, the holder of the titles of the European and World Champion, Mykola Bratasiuk from Uzhgorod defended his title in 2018. In general, Ukraine won 10 awards among adults in the respective categories.
