Transcarpathian police received a complaint about the operation of an interregional bus. Regular runs were operated on the route Mukachevo-Ivano-Frankivsk.
The traffic of interregional regular public transport was banned by the regional emergency response commission of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration due to the deteriorating situation regarding the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The driver was warned about the ban, but he continued to make trips.
Today, near the village of Kvasy, Rakhiv district, the police stopped the bus and drew up against the driver a report for violating quarantine rules.
Violation of quarantine rules, sanitary and hygienic, sanitary and anti-epidemic rules and norms provided by the Law of Ukraine "On protection of the population from infectious diseases", other acts of legislation, as well as decisions of local governments on combating infectious diseases entails a fine in amount of one to two thousand non-taxable minimum incomes on citizens and two to ten thousand non-taxable minimum incomes on officials.
One tax-free minimum is UAH 17, the minimum fine is UAH 17,000!
The decision to impose a fine and its amount is determined by the court.
