International train again will cross the Carpathians

7 to 9 September the train "Express Transcarpathia" again will cross part of the Carpathians, where the narrower European track remained. Transcarpathian Express for the third time goes the traditional route through four countries, but every time it has variety of programs.

This was informed in the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod, by the chief organizer of the attractions, member of the Hungarian Parliament Bela Molnar. "Transcarpathia is very diverse, so every time we can show our train guests new places" – said B. Molnar. New to this year’s route "Express Transcarpathia" will be the fact that the train will move in the opposite direction: leaving traditionally from Budapest to Romania, it then goes through Transcarpathia to Slovakia, and then returns to Hungary.
Passengers of "Express Transcarpathia" will visit Vinogradov, Beregove districts and finish the Ukrainian segment of the route in Chop. The program includes visiting exhibitions, fairs, festivals, and communication with the inhabitants of the locations where the train stops.   Transcarpathia will have the opportunity to present itself as a tourist region and offer tourists a variety of their products and services.
By the way, passengers of Transcarpathian Express will participate in the opening of a commemorative plaque for Laszlo Szucs who put a lot of effort to send the "Express Transcarpathia" on its way, uniting Transcarpathians of Hungarians. Ironically G. Laszlo Szucs died a month after the first train journey.
Organizers say that the train is able to accommodate everyone. This year they expect 200-250 people. Not only Hungarians but also Slovaks, Germans and Dutch.
