International scientific expedition “Timber floating “Tisa – 2003” – fifteen years later (Announcement)

On Friday, August 17, a round table meeting on: "Historical aspect and current realities of nature management in the basin of the Tisa River" will take place in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration (small hall, 2nd floor). The event will be held as part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the International Scientific Expedition "Timber floating "Tisa – 2003". The meeting will be attended by representatives of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the Public Council at the Regional State Administration, public associations, as well as heads of national parks in Transcarpathia and Hungary and scientists from UzhNU. It will be devoted to the historical aspect of tember floating in Transcarpathia, the restoration of the forest and timber floating museum, the nature protection activities of the national parks and the current state of the water resources of the Tisa river basin. The beginning is at 12.00.
