On June 17, a number of soloists, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, will demonstrate their performing capabilities: the laureate of international competitions Diana Havata (cello) will play the "Hungarian Rhapsody" by D.Popper, Andrit Broda (violin) will perform the symphonic poem "Dance of Death" by C.Saint-Saens, and trombonist Viktor Kovacs – "A Song for Japan" by S.Verhelst. The program also includes the Concerto for tuba and orchestra by R.Williams (soloist – Stanislav Kerechanyn) and Fantasia on themes from the opera "Carmen" by F.Born (soloist – Agnesa Bachynska, flute).
Brilliant "Rhapsody in Blue" by Gershwin will be performed by the laureate of international competitions Anzhelika Fuks (piano) and the finale of the concert will be "Bacchanalia" from the opera "Samson and Delilah" by C. Saint-Saens.
The concert will be hosted by musicologist Natalia Pitsur. The concert will begin at 18.30. For soldiers of the ATO, the admission is free.
