At the initiative of the Institute of Church History and with the support of the NGO "European Transcarpathia", the presentation of the album "Persecuted for Righteousness: Ukrainian Greek Catholics under the totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century" took place in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The publication consists of 5 thematic-chronological chapters, covering the difficult and at the same time dramatic history of the Catholic Church in the twentieth century, namely the Galician Archdiocese (including the western part of Przemysl Diocese, which after the Second World War was in the Polish People’s Republic) and the Mukachevo Diocese in the period from 1921 to 1991. The feature of the album is that the reader can learn about the history of the Church through personalities, see how the services took place in 1920-46, then in the Catacomb period, living conditions in camps. In addition, there are many photographs and documents (440) and excerpts from interviews with priests from the ICH archives, which are published for the first time.
