Information about the fire in one of the UzhNU buildings was not confirmed: it was a burning grass in the open area (PHOTOS)

Last night, August 26, several local media outlets spread information about a fire in one of the Uzhgorod National University buildings. As the Office of the SES of Transcarpathia told the Mukachevo.net, the information is untrue.

According to preliminary data, at Zankovetska st., 89, dry grass, shrubs and debris were burning in the open area near the building of a former bank.

There is an enclosed space near the abandoned building, and the fire happened there, in the open ground. The building itself was not burning.
