The woman’s purse contained electronic scales and bags of drugs. The police are investigating this incident
Yesterday, February 14, around 20.00, in the village of Tekovo in Vynogradiv district, the police stopped a car "Opel Astra" because of faulty tail lights.
When checking the driver’s documents, the police noticed suspicious behaviour of the passenger. The reason for her anxiety became clear later, when the police found in her purse plastic bags with a substance similar to methamphetamine and marijuana.
The woman explained that she was keeping these substances for her own consumption, but police officers are considering the version of distribution of these substances as the drugs were packaged as if prepared for sale.
Investigators opened criminal proceeding over this incident under Part 1 of Art.309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pretrial investigation continues.
