In Vynogradiv district, two people died in a fire

On November 15, a fire tragedy occurred in the village of Vylok in Vynogradiv district.

On Pereni street, a residential building caught fire. The fire was reported at 07:48 by the sister of the house owner, who had noticed smoke and flames bursting out of the house.

Firefighters of the 6th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Vynogradiv and local fire brigade of the village of Vylok arrived at the scene. The fire was contained at 08:11, and at 08:42 it was completely eliminated.

While extinguishing the fire, the firefighters found the bodies of two people in the room, where the fire had started. Later it turned out that those were 46-year-old owner of the house and his two-year younger friend, also a local resident.

The fire destroyed a wooden floor over the area of 1 square meter, a bed in the room, where the fire started, household items. The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading throughout the house, thus saving it from destruction.

The cause of the fire and other circumstances of the case are being established by law enforcement officers. One of the possible reasons is careless handling of fire during smoking, – the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
