This year, there will be no mandatory "asphalt vacation" in school camps of Vynogradiv district. Finally, we have abandoned the enforced percentage of coverage with pseudo-vacation in classrooms – this summer, students will be attending schools only on a voluntary basis. This decision was taken by deputies of Vynogradiv District Council.
Preliminary, the course of last year’s summer recreation and leisure of children in school camps was studied by a special commission to control the implementation of individual education programs. The results of the inspection by the District Council commission were reflected in the report, which was presented to the deputies of Vynogradiv District Council by deputy Yosyp Borto – he was heading this aspect of the work.
The conclusion of the commission and district deputies on this year’s summer recreation and leisure in school camps of our district is the same: the mandatory percentage of attendance should be abandoned, children will be attending day camps only on a voluntary basis. The main aspect is the quality of rehabilitation, and not quantity during the infamous asphalt vacation. Also, in Vynogradiv district, there will be established and launched a big stationary summer holiday camp in the Turhokat tract in the village of Bukove.
