In Vynogradiv district, a criminal case was opened against a deputy from the Party of Regions for threatening a journalist

December 7, 2013, the chief of staff of Vynogradiv District Police, Police Major R. Ratsyn reported that the website of Vynogradiv regional newspaper "Chorna Hora" had published the statement of the editor in chief of this paper Volodymyr Mocharnyk that on December 5, in the large meeting room of Vynogradiv District Council, during the meeting of the 19th extraordinary session of the District Council of the 6th convocation, the deputy of Vynogradiv District Council from the Party of Regions Yuri Dovbak from the podium, in the presence of the deputies had threatened him with physical violence because of his professional career.

The criminal offense is preliminary qualified under Art. 129, Part I of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (death threats).
