On the night of October 6, an accident involving two cars occurred in Vynogradiv on Komunalna street. The operational-rescue service of Transcarpathia received the report of it at 00:05. According to witnesses, the car "Opel Combo" drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a car "Chevrolet Tacuma".
The group of the 6th State Fire and Rescue Unit quickly arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the accident. Rescuers immediately rushed to extinguish the fire in the engine compartment of the car "Opel Combo" which had started as a result of the collision. The fire was localized at 00:12 and eliminated at 00:30.
Due to the accident, a 16-year-old passenger of the car "Opel Combo", who lives in the village of Onok, was injured. The girl diagnosed with contused forehead wound was admitted to Vynogradiv district hospital. Both drivers, residents of the city of Vynogradiv, did not need medical assistance.
Detailed circumstances of the accident will be established by the police.
