In Velyka Dobron, the streets repaired at the expense of local residents are in perfect condition after the winter (PHOTOS)

Instead, the central road of the village, which occasionally gets repaired by the road service, becomes impassable after every winter, the Mukachevo.net reports.

This is the result of effective self-organization of the residents of Velyka Dobron, who turned their village into "paved" Europe by reparing 6 secondary streets.

In early September 2016, the initiative of the local residents was the top topic of leading mass media of the country. Central TV channels of Ukraine and Hungary told about renovations in Velyka Dobron. 

Residents themselves raised the money for repair of the streets of the village. Former residents of Velyka Dobron, who are living abroad in Hungary, Germany and the United Statesm, helped the locals financially. 

Having done the repairs of street coatings, the local residents proved that 130-150 UAH per square meter is enough for proper paving with 4-5 cm layer of asphalt.
