In Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian Folk Choir wished people peace in the New Year (PHOTO)

Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir traditionally gave a concert at the beginning of the year.

On the stage of the Regional Philharmonic, artists, together with the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and organist Olesya Hayduk, performed the program "Peace to you in the New Year."

At the beginning of the concert, the choir artistic director Natalia Petiy-Potapchuk noted that 2015 is a special year because, 70 years ago, in 1945, the choir was created to glorify Transcarpathia worldwide over the years to come.
