In Uzhgorod, three houses and a hotel lost gas supply due to unauthorized excavation

Yesterday, December 4, at 2:37 pm, the Zakarpatgaz JSC notified the Rescue Service that 169 gas consumers had been disconnected from gas supply.

Those were three houses and a hotel in Uzhgorod on Glenz Street.

As it was found out later, the shutdown occurred due to unauthorized excavation (a 110 mm medium pressure pipeline was damaged).

Operation to repair the damage was carried out. "At 16:40, gas supply was completely restored," – the SES of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
