In Uzhgorod they told how to assemble peacefully

March 15, at the Regional Training Center of the Transcarpathian Universal Scientific Library, GO "Transcarpathian Community Center" with the expert support of the All-Ukrainian initiative "For peaceful protest!" conducted the skype conference on "The right to peaceful assembly and its practical implementation in Ukraine. Transcarpathian context."

The head of the NGO "Transcarpathian Community Center" Volodymyr Feskov told online audience how to properly and lawfully organize peaceful gatherings, about the violations that community activists had recorded in Transcarpathia, and answered dozens of questions from the participants. Overall, 23 unique organization took part in the skype conference.  

As for the ​​violations recorded in the region, the Executive Committee of Perechyn City Council adopted a decision which identifies certain spaces for peaceful gatherings. Khust City Council in their decisions was guided by a Soviet law, which also allows to identify particular places and requires to warn about events in ten days term.

And Rakhiv City Council identified for gatherings only two locations in the district center and ordered to coordinate peaceful gathering with churches that are located nearby.
