The analytical report of the National Institute for Strategic Studies was presented in Uzhgorod
On Tuesday, June 17, the Regional Branch of the National Institute for Strategic Studies in Uzhgorod held a presentation of the NISS Analytical Report "Systemic crisis in Ukraine: background, risks, ways to overcome." The event was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Andriy Serbaylo, the deputy director of NISS (Kyiv) Vasyl Yablonsky, the regional director of NISS in Uzhgorod Svitlana Mytryayeva.
Representatives of the consulates of Hungary and Slovakia, heads of departments of state and local governments, academia and universities took part in the presentation.
The participants of the event were presented the Analytical Report of the NISS, which analyzes the basic premises in political, social and economic life of Ukraine, which led to the crisis of late 2013 – early 2014. Also, the report formulates the main strategic priorities of public policies to overcome the crisis as soon as possible, to restore socio-political and economic stability.
– The Analytical Report is actually the agenda for policy makers and agencies of state government on priorities and the first tasks to overcome the systemic crisis in Ukraine – Svitlana Mytryayeva said during the speech.
Andriy Serbaylo welcomed the participants and noted that it is impossible to overestimate the importance of such a document, because the crisis and stabilization in economic, political and social spheres is extremely important.
