In Uzhgorod, they have suddenly canceled autumn holidays

Another surprise from the City Council – parents complain: they canceled autumn holidays without notice!
Uzhgorod resident Olga Pavlova wrote in facebook:

"The child burst into tears at school and refused to eat dinner. Half of first-graders in our form also cried, because they could not (and still can not) understand why this morning everyone was saying, "Hooray, you will have a holiday", and at the end of the last school day of the first quarter, everything changed and there will be no autumn holidays at all. Because you can not explain the child that the government and the Mayor do not care that the kids are tired, that they, after all, have been waiting for this break, that it is their legal holiday, that the parents have their own plans, and that the absence of promised and long-awaited holidays is the desire to save. But you can not save on that! Gather a council of physicians, psychologists and teachers, and then make conclusions about harmful consequences of such decision. Do you want to save? Cancel fireworks on the City Day and New Year and several other similar unnecessary whims!    I am making an official statement: if I see that for my child it is really a tragedy (and, according to the teacher, it looks that way), then will I arrange holidays on my own. No school until November 4. Unlike the others, I keep my promises."

Let’s see what the reaction of the authorities will be like (or whether, actually, there will be at least some answer and explaination of the situation.)
