In Uzhgorod there was the “Bio-bograch party” (PHOTOS)

This year, to celebrate the "Day of biologist" at the Faculty of Biology of UzhNU there was the VI regional conference of young scientists and students, as well as "Bio-bograch party", which gathered students and teachers in the contest.

The theme of the conference was the problem of preservation of biodiversity in Ukrainian Carpathians. The participants worked in 5 categories: "Preservation of floral biodiversity of Ukrainian Carpathians", "Preservation of faunal biodiversity of Ukrainian Carpathians", "Balanced development of agro-ecosystems", "Applications of environmental protection", "Microbiological and physiological studies in ecology." The works were published in a separate collection, which included 103 works of young scientists.

"Bio-bograch party" began with students cleaning the UzhNU Botanical Garden, and continued with the competition for the best bograch maker. 7 teams participated in the competition.

The jury assessed not only the traditional characteristics of the dish (taste, smell, texture), but also the creativity of the students during cooking. After the discussion, jury declared the winner of the "Bio-bograch party" – "Bioshoker" team. Second place went to the "Angry Beavers" team, and the third – to the "Hell chefs."
