In Uzhgorod, there was a special cancellation of the artistic stamped envelope (PHOTOS)

In the operating room of the post office (Poshtova Sq., 4), there was a special cancellation of the artistic stamped envelope "The first postmark in Transcarpathia. 200 years."

Back in 2009, in connection with the 70th anniversary of the declaration of Carpatho-Ukraine, Ukrainian Post Office produced the artistic envelope with an original stamp. The postal miniature, cancelled with a special postmark, features a stamp of Carpatho-Ukraine dated 1939. The envelope features a portrait of the president of Carpatho-Ukraine Augustin Voloshin.

And this year, we have another, equally remarkable date – the celebration of 200 years since the appearance of the first postage stamp in Transcarpathia.
