October 9 Uzhgorod Press Club hosted a prerelease of the new clip of "Rokash" band called "Palynochka bila bila." Presentation of the clip and a concert on this occasion will be held in Lviv on October 13.
This is the first experience of cooperation with a new director’s team from Lviv.
The director of the clip Yaroslav Turkivsky thanked the entire crew and told that the clip "is about love and hatred, about what each of us has experienced or seen."
The video tells about a man who spent nearly half his life before meeting his love – a girl who is his opposite. But what was the cause of their meeting, became also the reason for their separation.
"We tried to make the video slightly differently than before" – says Turkivsky.
One of the roles (a priest) was played by a prominent Transcarpathian journalist Oleksandr Popovich. He admitted that it was interesting to just observe the work of the director and the photographer, who created a wonderful "picture".
The director of photography was Yaroslav Monchak. Video shooting took place over two days in the city of Uzhgorod, and in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Svalyava districts.
The clip is also interesting because the band members appear in it only for three seconds, and the leading role is played by the actor (who acted without makeup). Costumes for the clip were prepared by Olena Buhrenkova. "The atmosphere on the set was very cheerful. Part of the "happiness" referred to in the clip, was transmitted to us. I hope for further cooperation," – says Olena Buhrenkova.
The leader of "Rokash" Victor Yantso said that the song "Palynochka bila bila" is actually philosophical and makes a person think about what he or she does in this life, on family relationships. This is the song "Rokash" began their concert work with.
