In Uzhgorod, the police detained an apartment thief

The 51-year-old resident of Uzhgorod already has a previous conviction for theft. And now he was caught again stealing from an apartment and will bear criminal responsibility

Unknown persons stole from an apartment on Kapushanska street in Uzhgorod the money in the amount of 50 USD and 800 UAH. The victim reported it to the police.

Officers of the Criminal Police found out that a 51-year-old resident of Uzhgorod had broken into the apartment with the intention to steal. This man has a criminal record for theft. And now he will be prosecuted again.

The police opened criminal proceeding over the theft with breaking and entering (Art. 185, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Evidentiary testimony has been received, the choice of pre-trial restraint is being decided. Pre-trial investigation continues.
