In Uzhgorod, the police caught a man, who had robbed his father and sold the stolen goods

A 16-year-old resident of Uzhgorod stole from his father’s house a TV set with an amplifier worth 30,000 UAH. He then sold the stolen goods. An investigation over this incident has been initiated.

The police received a statement from a resident of Uzhgorod. The applicant said that while he was at work, a TV set "Panasonic" with an amplifier had been stolen from his house. The amount of losses was 30,000 hryvnia. The lock on the front door was not damaged, nothing else in the house was moved. So, officers of the Criminal Police assumed that the theft had been committed by someone close to the victim. And so it was.

As it turned out, the TV set had been stolen and sold by a 16-year-old son of the owner. The investigators are finding out whom the young sold the stolen goods. The criminal proceeding has been opened over this incident under Part 3 of Art.185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft, coupled with breaking and entering).
