In Uzhgorod, the police caught a man, who had committed a series of thefts from a supermarket

Uzhgorod Criminal Police Department identified and found the man who had twice stolen an alcohol from a local supermarket

 The first time, two bottles with a total value of 566 UAH were stolen, the second time – 3 bottles with a total value of 760 UAH. Criminal police of Uzhgorod Police Department found out that a 33-year-old resident of Uzhgorod was involved in both thefts. The man was detained, the choice of pre-trial restraint is being decided.

A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft). It is punishable by a fine of up to fifty non-taxable minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment for up to three years.
