In Uzhgorod, the police arrested a serial thief

Officers of the Criminal Police identified and arrested a resident of Uzhgorod, who had stolen money and household items from local appartments

Yesterday, December 5, during a search operation, specialists of Uzhgorod Criminal Police detained a 24-year-old local resident. 

The man is suspected of committing several burglaries.

In particular, it was found out that the man previously convicted for thefts was involved in the theft of about 1,500 hryvnia, documents and appliances from several apartments in Uzhgorod.

Law enforcement officials are establishing the suspect’s involvement other similar crimes. The choice of a pretrial restraint is being decided.
