In Uzhgorod, the police arrested a robber, who had beaten and robbed a disabled man

In the city of Uzhgorod, in broad daylight, a previously convicted criminal beat a disabled man and took his tablet. 

On November 21, a resident of the city of Mukachevo filed a statement to the police. The woman reported that in the city of Uzhgorod her disabled son had been robbed.

As the criminal police officers of the city found out, on P.Komuny street, the 35-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, first group disabled, had been beaten and robbed of a tablet worth more than three thousand hryvnia by a 37-year-old resident of Uzhgorod.

The police initiated criminal proceeding over this incident under Art.186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Robbery). The robber, who already had been previously convicted for theft and drugs, was detained.

The choice of a pretrial restraint is being decided. The investigation is ongoing.
