In Uzhgorod, the police arrested a man, who had stolen a TV set from his friend’s apartment

Officers of the criminal police department in Uzhgorod have found a man, who stole a friend’s TV set 

An Uzhgorod resident reported to the police that unknown persons had broken into his appartment and stolen a TV set. Officers of the criminal police found out that the day before, the victim was drinking alcohol with his friend. Then the guest went home, but returned at night and committed the theft. 

The thief was a 28-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, who had been convicted for property crimes. The physical evidence was seized, the issue of pre-trial restraint is being decided. A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (burglary) has been initiated.
