Police officers have documented a violation of the quarantine rules introduced because of the threat of the spread of the dangerous viral disease COVID-19. Appropriate report of administrative offense was drawn up against the offender
According to the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, today, March 19, during a raid, police officers found an open catering facility located on Pushkin Square in the city of Uzhgorod.
"The day before, the police had already visited the said establishment and warned about the prohibition of its activity during the quarantine period," – the message reads.
Due to the fact that the owner ignored the warning and requirements of the nationwide quarantine, police officers drew up a report under Article 44-3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, that is, violation of the quarantine rules.
"The offender faces a fine of one to two thousand tax-free minimum incomes of citizens, and officials – two to ten thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens," – law enforcement officers informed.
