In Uzhgorod, the location of a bus stop has been changed and the PrivatBank was ordered to dismantle steps and ramp

In connection with the completion of the first stage of the reconstruction of Sandor Petefi Sq. in Uzhgorod, the bus stop of the route No. 3 "Chornovil st. – S. Petofi sq.", as of August 10, was returned to the previous bus stop "School No.9".

The temporary bus stop "Cosumer Services Center" was canceled, the transport department of Uzhgorod city council informs.

In addition, the Department of City Planning and Architecture of the Uzhgorod City Council ordered PrivatBank to dismantle the steps and ramp installed in the historic part of the city without permits. The corresponding letter was addressed to the management of the bank.

It was found out that steps and a ramp were installed in the biulding of the PrivatBank branch at Sandor Petofi Sq. 17, and part of the sidewalk was dismantled. Since the building at Sandor Petofi Sq., 17 is located in the historical area and the protected zone of the city, and the works were carried out without proper approvals by the body for protection of cultural heritage, the Department of City Planning and Architecture, without permission for work perfomance, the bank shall dismantle the steps with a ramp, repair the sidewalk, or develop the project of steps and ramp and have it approved by all the services.
