The quarantine prompted Transcarpathian theaters to seek new forms of communication with the audience, including open-air performances. The Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Rural Life seems to have been made for performances that are set in the past. To start, the Transcarpathian Drama Theater chose one of their best works based on the famous play by Karpenko-Kary staged by Honored Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Shershun. If the experiment is successful, other performances will be presented in the real historical setting.
And on the weekend, the Transcarpathian Drama Theater invites you to the auditorium. On Saturday, September 19, and Tuesday, September 22, at 6.30 pm, the Italian tragicomedy "I’m waiting for you, my beloved" by Dario Fo will be presented on the Small Stage, and on Sunday, September 20, in the Great Hall, the musical fairy tale "Bremen Musicians" will be presented at 12 pm, and the drama “The Zhmenyaks” based on the novel by Mykhailo Tomchaniy – at 6 pm.
