In Uzhgorod, students, who have perfect EIT score, will be paid up to 20,000 hryvnias

Today, the executive committee of the Uzhgorod City Council approved the Program of support of gifted youth in Uzhgorod for 2021-2023. 
The tasks and activities of the Program include: 
– financial support of gifted youth through the payment of one-time rewards of Uzhgorod City Council to the winners of the III stage of the competition-defense of research works of the Small Academy of Sciences, IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads and teachers who trained them; 
– awarding of graduates of Uzhgorod general secondary education institutions, who received the following EIT score in the current academic year: 
200 points (for one subject) – cash reward in the amount of UAH 5,000.00 
400 points (for two subjects) – cash reward in the amount of UAH 10,000.00 
600 points (for three subjects) – cash reward in the amount of UAH 20,000.00; 
– financial support of gifted youth by providing a grant from the mayor to gifted students and teachers to participate in international cooperation activities in the form of an educational trip to one of the EU countries; 
– organization of cultural and educational trips for talented creative students to the European Union. 
The funding for the three-year program is provided in the amount of UAH 1 million 730 thousand, for 2021 – UAH 550 thousand. The program is still to be approved at the city council session.
