Law enforcement officers found weapons in the apartment of a 20-year-old unemployed resident of Uzhgorod. The woman explained that she was renting out the appartment. The arsenal was left in the apartment by the man who lived in it since 2015. In August this year, the tenant for unknown reasons left the apartment, leaving all his belongings there.
Officers of the criminal police of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, detectives of Uzhgorod Police Department, in cooperation with the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region found the items similar to: 58 cartridges of 7.62 caliber, 32 cartridges of 9 mm caliber, 7 cartridges of 7.62 caliber, 10 levers to grenades, 29 cartridges for hunting weapons, 188 shells of various calibers, three sets of military uniform, 15 military jackets, 3 metal helmets, military first aid kit, two vests, two harnesses, military and military-tactical maps, weapon cleaning tools, tube with binoculars, military ammunition box, a bag with military equipment, items similar to military supplies to RPGs, grenade launcher, magazine to Kalashnikov, rear part of a grenade launcher. Also, computer equipment was seized. All weapons was found in the uncharged state.
The police are looking for the owner of the arsenal and establishing how he got the weapons.
