A 45-year resident of the village of Baranyntsi in Uzhgorod district was arrested by operatives for a car burglary in the regional center. The man already has a criminal record, and now appears in a criminal proceeding again.
An Uzhgorod resident reported to the police about the theft from his car "Hyundai". In the morning, unknown persons stole from the car, that was parked on the street, a laptop and personal documents of the owner.
Officers of the Criminal Police conducted search operations and arrested a 45-year resident of the village of Baranyntsi in Uzhgorod district involved in the crime. The detainee has a criminal record for theft.
Investigators opened criminal proceeding over this incident. The stolen equipment and documents were seized from the offender and returned to the rightful owner. Currently, the man is being checked for involvement in the commission of similar crimes in the city.
