In Uzhgorod, places, where flowers are planted, will be watched more closely

Places in Uzhgorod, where flowers are planted at the expense of the city budget, will be patrolled more thoroughly.

This was reported by the press service of Uzhgorod City Council.

The City Department of the National Police responded to the request of local authorities, and today at the City Council they discussed joint raids involving officers of the patrol police, the municipal police department of the City Council and the "Uzhagromix" company which provides landscaping service in Uzhgorod.
The flowers are being massively stolen, especially rose bushes, once they stole 27 of 30 planted bushes.

Last week, the mayor Bogdan Andriyiv appealed to Uzhgorod residents asking to fight those who are destroying the community property. For the first time in many years, Uzhgorod has a chance to become a flourishing city, for example, just today, nearly 40 different kinds of flowers were planted on Sandor Petofi Square. But all this beauty will be gone if we do not protect it.
