In Uzhgorod, on the Day of Unity, there will be a popular assembly

On Thursday, January 22, 2015, on the occasion of the Day of Unity, a series of events will be held in Uzhgorod.

At 10.00, in the premises of the Uzhgorod railway station, at the initiative of Transcarpathian Academic Folk Choir, there will be an artistic and patriotic event.

At 12.00, in the lobby of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration (Uzhgorod, Narodna Square, 4 (second floor)), there will be a solemn meeting with the participation of the Regional State State Administration and the Regional Council officials, representatives of political parties, law enforcement agencies, civic organizations, clergy. 

After the ceremonies and wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to Taras Shevchenko, everyone will be able to take part in the popular assembly on Narodna Square, the Department of Information and Public Relation of the RSA reported.
