In Uzhgorod, on Pidhradska street, a car was burning

On June 14, at 09:00, the Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a car "Mercedes Vito", which occured on Pidhradska street in Uzhgorod, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informed.

According to the owner of the car, he stopped near a gas station, went to the store, and when he returned to the car, he saw smoke. The man used a fire extinguisher, but to no avail.

Firefighters of the 14th and 15th State Fire and Rescue units arrived at the scene. The firefighters found out that the car dashboard had caught fire. At 09:08, rescuers localized the fire. Almost 15 minutes later, at 9:22, the fire was completely eliminated. The fire only damaged the dashboard of the vehicle. The rest of the vehicle remained intact. Two pieces of equipment and 8 firefighters were extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire will be established by law enforcement authorities.
