In Uzhgorod, manhole covers have been stolen again

he City Hall reported that on December 11, in Uzhgorod, manhole covers were stolen again.

"At night on December 11, 6 iron manhole covers were stolen.  The fact of theft of public property was reported to law enforcement agencies to take measures to identify the persons involved in the theft of manhole covers. The damage caused to utilities amount to 9318.28 UAH.

Manhole covers were stolen on the following streets:

– Krasnodontsi st., 16;

– intesection of Paryzka Komuna – Uspensky streets in the green zone;

– on the corner of Blagoev – Onokivska streets in the green zone," – the statement says. 

Recall that still not all dangerous sewer pits in Uzhgorod are closed and some open manholes are masked with snow.
