When this unique tree in Uzhgorod – Ginkgo biloba – begins to turn yellow, one can stand and enjoy its beauty for hours. Especially since the trees of this species in the regional center can be found only on several streets, including Ruska Street, Petofi Square.
It turns out that it is not that common in Ukraine, it can be found only in several cities: in Mukachevo, in the town of Hoshcha in Rivne region, in Kolomyia of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Donetsk, Lviv, Odesa, Kyiv, Skvyra of Kyiv region, in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivsky, the village of Mykhailivka in Khmelnitsky region and in Cherkasy region. Because the Ginkgo or Maidenhair Tree (Ginkgo biloba) is a relict plant and the only species of the Ginkgo genus, which is the sole representative of the Ginkgo family.
