uzhgorod.in continues to explore the ancient city on Uzh in search of interesting trinkets and details that accentuate its authenticity. The "face" of the old city is best preserved in Austro-Hungarian and Czechoslovak stone buildings. Hence for almost a century, they tell the story of the regional center of Transcarpathia. The most "talkative" are stucco, and balconies also know a lot of stories.
By the way, it is very pleasing that, despite the developers’ activity, in Uzhgorod there are still many both old and new buildings with balconies decorated with exquisite lattice. If you look closely, on each of them you can find interesting characters, figures, flowers, sinuous lines, arcs. Clearly, they are not just for looks, but at least serve to underscore homeowner’s charisma and taste.
However, there is also quite a lot of buildings that have no special delicacy. And worst of all – there are those that are simply falling apart. Details – in the photos.
