The eighth Parade of Brides has taken place in the city. This year, about sixty girls in elegant dresses with extraordinary hairstyles were posing for photographs, walking runways, riding in cars, marching in the downtown and performing on the stage in the Uzhgorod castle.
The jury, which consisted of a star guest of our city, the participant of the 6th season of the popular TV show "The Bachelor", producer Irakli Makatsariya, journalist Vitaliy Glagola, winners of world and European dance sport championships Veronica Myshko and Volodymyr Lyatov, known "chocolate artist" Valentin Shtefanyo and others, determined the best contestants in the categories of the most original dress, the best hairstyle, the most original bouquet, the most original body art, etc.
The brides marched from S.Petofi Square via the pedestrian bridge, Teatralna Square, Korzo, Voloshin, Kapitulna streets. The show took place on the big stage in Uzhgorod castle, and closer to midnight continued in a nightclub.
According to the decision of the jury, Irakli Makatsariya presented the prize to Yana Polyakova, but a girl named Victoria was, probably, even more lucky – right on the stage she was proposed to, and she finished the holiday in the status of a real bride
